Member Update
Have you seen the “new look” at Grant County Plumbing & Heating? Grant County Plumbing & Heating has remodeled and invites you to stop by and give them a chance to show off the new showroom. They have become a Full House Specialist! They specialize in energy-efficient equipment and now offer windows, doors (home and garage), siding, and roofing. Of course, they still offer plumbing, heating, electrical, and water systems, as well as bath remodeling: everything from the roof down, which includes going under the house with water lines, etc. Remember, all Chamber members are given a 10% discount (maximum $500).
To celebrate their new showroom, they are inviting you to a FREE Hog Roast with all the trimmings at Grant County Plumbing & Heating on June 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be face painting, clowns, balloons, and great door prizes.

Director's Luncheon
Sixty-seven community leaders attended the May Director’s Luncheon. Presentations were made by Stacy Sample of Salin Bank & Trust and Valerie Abram of WLBC Backyard Broadcasting (Muncie). WLBC is a new Chamber member and was welcomed by the President-Elect. Valerie Abram and Maya Garner distributed client needs analysis forms (extras are available in Chamber Office) to ascertain information about the business community in an effort to better serve the area.
Salin Bank & Trust recently relocated to Gas City and is excited about its new location. Over the past 16 months, Salin’s Grant County offices have grown from $24M to over $38M in commercial loans while maintaining continued growth in customer deposits. Salin has four branches in Grant County and offers a wide variety of products. Stacey invited everyone to stop by and see all Salin has to offer. Membership plaques were presented to Backyard Broadcasting, Barb’s Bits & Bytes, and Conference & ! Travel Services.
Perfect Attendance Chairman Susan Bournique thanked her committee and informed those in attendance that there were 93 students with perfect attendance this year. Salin Bank & Trust was presented with a picture of its recent grand opening.
Louis Rodriguez informed attendees that Grant County Plumbing & Heating has reopened its shop with a remodeled building and showroom. He invited everyone to a hog roast that the business will hold June 24th.
Anita M. Rice was applauded by the President-Elect for her efforts in coordinating the Diplomats.

Volunteer Gratitude Baskets
Volunteer Gratitude Baskets were presented at the Annual Meeting as a part of National Volunteer Week. Jennifer Jones coordinated the effort this year and she did a great job! Plastic file boxes were filled for each of the volunteers (all kinds of goodies; i.e., coupons for free meals and free gas; BBQ aprons; sets of mugs; just to mention a few items.) On behalf of the volunteers and the Gas City Area Chamber, thank you for assisting the Chamber in thanking those who give so generously to their community and Chamber all year long.
